SAP Business Warehouse Architect and Developer

Sandvik IT Global Shared Services (GSS) is a support function with the mission of meeting the IT needs of Sandvik's business globally, with about 850 people located in approximately 40 countries. This is done in an international environment, with various areas of responsibility, such as IT architecture, management systems, process development, IT security and IT support.

Due to a changing setting for the business, where Big Data, the Internet of Things and On-time Data have entered the scene, Sandvik IT's SAP functions are involved in exciting current projects to meet the new expectations and demands from Sandvik's various business areas. To strengthen our highly skilled team, we are now looking for an SAP Business Warehouse Architect and Developer who would like to be part of our journey towards the future in SAP. For this position, we require of you to be present in Sandviken at least three days a week.

Job Summary
In this role you take ownership from end-to-end and ensure successful implementation of business processes, in accordance with requirements, by using the possibilities provided by the SAP environment. You are the one who prepares the ground for the "implementers" in the team: you take responsibility for creating the outlines- and designing solutions for identified gaps and you estimate the efforts needed to secure implementation. Your daily work includes tasks such as creating functional and technical specifications, configuring solutions, developing, tests and managing assigned incidents, and you always ensure proper documentation in relation to solutions and systems. Another important role is for you to ensure knowledge transfer both within the team and with external stakeholders.

Your profile
For this position, we are looking for someone with a degree in IT or equivalent experience gained from a working career. Your previous assignments include being in a position where you have used your leadership skills, and you have at least five years' experience from working with SAP Business Warehouse or Business Intelligence. Experience in HANA and ABAP is advantageous and the same applies for participation in ERP implementations. We prefer that you understand Sandvik's businesses and as we act in a global context, you must communicate fluently in English, both verbally and in writing.
