SAP Platform is responsible for managing our vast SAP landscape. Including commercial flows, HR systems, factory critical transactions and more. Navigating the needs of our different users & stakeholders requires a leader skilled in SAP tech as well as product management. SAP is one of our essential systems – without it, Volvo Cars can’t operate.
Our hypothesis is that if we can find more leverage in the SAP Platform organization by taking a more active focus on SAP Developer Experience supporting the huge SAP community at Volvo Cars.
Additionally, we are moving from a consultant heavy organization to having in-house talent. Your job will include transforming this area into a product-oriented organization to increase efficiency through empowered autonomy. 
What you will do
You will hire, coach, mentor & inspire Product & Engineering Managers. Through your leadership team you will lead and grow a cluster of digital professionals consisting of four product teams.
You will ensure that we prioritize the most impactful ideas and that our solutions meet the needs of our customers.
You will have budget responsibility for the SAP Platform area including licenses, staffing & operations.

What you'll bring
We believe that you have experience of working with SAP infrastructure & operations, and it is meritorious if you have worked with developer experience and product management. You love to lead, develop, inspire, and grow your team, and have previous experience doing so; you are probably a senior manager today and you know what it takes to build a phenomenal team.
You are knowledgeable and passionate about modern software development that builds products our customers love. You are fluent in turning customer insight into experiments. You are skilled in product strategy and willing to work hands-on to ensure that we learn and iterate. Experience with business processes around billing, invoicing and collection is a plus.
 Finally, you fully embrace a growth mindset and can encourage others to do the same. You are someone who likes to have fun at work and makes sure everyone always feels welcome and included!
