OHB Sweden is a leading Swedish supplier of space systems. We develop, build, test and commission satellites and subsystems for space missions - including communications, Earth observation, and space research and exploration - serving both institutional and commercial customers within and outside Europe. We'll start the recruitment process in January, but please feel free to apply before then.
Your Task will include, but not limited to:
Satellite TT&C engineering, subsystem architecture definition and testing,
Subsystem level activities such as requirements specifications, design, analysis, unit selection, link budgets maintenance, etc.
Technical Officer role and support to Procurement for TT&C units
Support to system level design activities (satellites modes and attitude selection, CAD review, input to thermal, etc.).
Participation in system level and subsystem level reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, MRR),
Tests specifications elaboration and SCOE requirements specification
Required Qualifications:
Master Level degree in Electrical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering,
>3-year experience in satellite TT&C subsystem or communication links (transceivers, transmitters, receivers)
Relevant experience in micro-satellite design or ESA missions,
Experience in TT&C subsystem sizing and link budgets,
Experience in CCSDS and ECSS standards,
Experience in RF and digital communications,
Experience in requirements management software (i.e. DOORS),
Familiarity in satellite mechanical and thermal design,
Familiarity with RF measurement equipment,
Advantageous:
Familiarity with satellite communication modems (Cortex, q-radio, Newtec)
Familiarity with SDR,
Familiarity with scripting languages (Python) mostly for data treatment and plotting,
Familiarity with satellite AIT,
Familiarity with MATLAB and Simulink,
Familiarity with EGSE definition,
Fluent in English.

Travels will be required (3-4 trips per year, mostly in Continental Europe
