School Librarian

Internationella Engelska Skolan i Enskede is an independent secondary school, with grades 6-9.We have 630 students on role.The school is beautifully located in Gubbängen, with easy access to the town centre.The teaching language is English.We offer a safe learning and working environment, where respect for each other permeates the whole school.Both staff and students come from all over the world bringing interesting knowledge, experience and possibilities into the school. We believe that having a command of the English language is imperative for the future to ensure opportunities in today's world. We require a full time school librarian starting on January 8th 2007.The position involves taking care of library routines including lending activities, organizing and ordering books, magazines and news papers.The librarian is also responsible for establishing and maintaining a calm environment in the library and helping the students.It is an advantage if you are familiar with library systems especially Mikromarc.Library related education and/or experience is a merit.
