The department Biopharmaceutical R&D is growing and looking for new scientists. The main focus for the department is development of drug substance and drug product. It also support projects through the value chain from preclinical, over development to product support and Life Cycle Management.
The Protein Characterization Section within Biopharmaceutical R&D is accountable for biochemical and biophysical characterization of proteins, development of analytical methods and GMP regulated release and stability testing of biopharmaceuticals in clinical trials. The work is performed in cross-functional teams in a highly collaborative, experienced and engaged environment. Your work tasks will be:
• Develop biochemical methods for analysis of biopharmaceuticals during development, with focus on Mass Spectrometry based methods.
• Biochemical characterization of proteins from early and late stage development projects.
• Contribute with analytical activities to process development.
• Actively contribute in the project team.
• Plan, perform, evaluate and document analytical activities.
• Write scientific/technical reports.
• Responsible for laboratory instruments and equipment.
Qualifications:
• M.Sc. in Analytical Biochemistry or related field.
• 2 or more years of Analytical Biochemistry R&D experience -preferably from industrial laboratory environment.
• Theoretical and practical knowledge in protein characterisation and analytical method development.
• Skilled in LC-MS based methods, peptide mapping and MALDI-ToF.
• Broad knowledge in analytical chromatography techniques, electrophoretic and spectrometry techniques for proteins.
• Skilled in writing technical reports.
• Fluency in English - both oral and written communications- fluency in Swedish is a merit
