High Voltage Instrument Transformers is a business unit within Hitachi ABB Power Grids located in Ludvika. The unit has worldwide Hitachi ABB Power Grids responsibility for the development, production and sale of high voltage instrument transformers. High voltage plays an important role in reliable and energy efficient power systems.
In this role you will lead a team of strategic purchasers to execute purchasing and logistics strategies that support the business by optimizing costs, quality, and reliability of suppliers and supplied products.
Your responsibilities
As an SCM Manager, you will work in a dynamic environment where your main task will be to ensure that the SCM function within the unit is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed You will develop the team, individuals, and processes in the SCM function
Identify and drive savings together with the team and organization
You will be an active member of unit management team with great possibilities to growth both within the organization and globally
Your daily work will be influenced by collaboration globally and across functions

Your background
You hold a University degree and have some years work experience from similar roles, preferably in an SCM organization
You enjoy leading, motivating and developing people, and are used to building strong relationships
You are interested in commercial aspects and negotiations
A genuine interest in technology will support success in this role
You are highly self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability, have a sense for business, and enjoy the challenge to make your team thrive and deliver excellent results
