What we offer
Connected Experience unit within R&D includes Connectivity and Car Cloud Platform, Infotainment Platform, Applications and Data & Diagnostics. Our vision and strategy are to maximize the attractiveness of owning and using a Volvo, make all cars connected and provide a continuously enhanced experience for both new and existing cars. The ART Connectivity Platform within the Department Connectivity Platform is responsible for delivering Global Connectivity as a service – E2E including SW and Mobile Network Services. The platform we provide is the prerequisite for all connected applications and services within the vehicle.

What you’ll do
As a Scrum Master (ScM) you will continuously work with coaching the Scrum team, refining the team’s processes, facilitating Scrum ceremonies and removing impediments. You will have a close collaboration within the Trio of Product Owner, Team Manager, Scrum master and other people with interfaces to the team.

You will be a part of a Scrum master community to share experience, ideas and contribute to drive change throughout the whole ART. You will also:
•    Communicate status, escalate and track issues when required and be transparent in documentation and communication.
•    Lead team efforts in continuous improvement by helping the team in retrospectives and take responsibility for their improvement actions.
•    Facilitate preparation and readiness for ART ceremonies like PI Planning, System Demos and the Inspect and Adapt.
•    Drive changes towards Volvo Cars Agile transition

This position will work as Scrum master for two teams within the Art. One team (Continues Release team) focusing Supplier management and supporting the teams in the ART in SW release handling, and one team (Daily Prophet team) which have their focus in functional development enabling connectivity and data offloading.

Merit is to have knowledge in VCC Car project and SW development processes.

Do you fit the profile?
For this role it is meritorious if you have a university degree within software development or equivalent. It is also beneficial if you have previous experience from working as a Scrum Master and software.
As a person, you have the ability to lead teams, to apply a holistic and strategic approach, motivate and create confidence in the team. You make things happen without someone telling you what to do.
You prefer to plan and solve problems in a structured manner. You are also very comfortable to cooperate and communicate with people on different levels in the organization and have an interest
and competence in Agile working methods. Supporting the team with test driving we expect you to have a European driving license type B.
