We are currently looking for passionate experienced and result-oriented candidates for the role of a Scrum Master Expert with a professional background and exemplary concepts to join our team.


Key Responsibilities:
As a Scrum Master for Core System Platform, you'll be responsible for securing the value flow of multiple teams and increasing their output efficiency.


You will facilitate Scrum events such as daily stand-up meetings, sprint demos, sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives, PI events, and other team workshops or activities by living the Volvo Cars Agile Framework (VCAF). You will coach the team on agile tools and practises, improve collaboration, and help the team's open mind blossom as a vital leader.


You'll assess the teams' maturity and take part in Scrum of Scrums and Scrum of People. As a Scrum Master, you assist in the mitigation of risks as well as the removal, escalation, and tracking of impediments, all while keeping an eye on process definition and documentation.


You will be one of the central contacts for the High Integrity area as part of the agile troika, ensuring a world-leading, safe, and sustainable software platform.




Education, Expertise, and experience requirements:
We believe that the challenge of forming an organisation capable of setting and achieving high standards for technology leadership, efficiency, and quality has piqued your interest. You have experience working in leadership roles in an agile organisation, and you have a strong understanding of software development best practises to help us improve our agility.


We require you to have demonstrated ability to prioritise, plan, communicate, and influence across all domains and levels of the organisation with minimal supervision because we are a large multi-sited organisation with a complex mission. We believe you can assist line managers in recruiting and coaching our leaders and teams to achieve success.


You are a person who embraces change, is structured under pressure, and has a strong focus on what we need to accomplish. You enjoy collaborating with others to solve problems. You are a customer-focused individual who enjoys working as part of a team and taking pride in your own and the team's accomplishments.


The following are necessary prerequisites:
You are a servant leader with at least 5 years of proven experience coaching leaders and teams.
You are an expert in driving change, change projects, personnel changes, and process definition
You have operational leadership experience in large scale SW development organisations
You enjoy coaching, mentoring, teaching, supporting, escalating, and facilitating in a respectful VCAF manner
You are an excellent networker and certainly cross-functional with great communication skills
You are self-driven; you think in solutions and have the energy to make things happen





Other:
It is advantageous to have the following knowledge & experience:
You have industry experience in embedded software development
You have previously worked as a Scrum Master or Release Train Engineer
You are adaptable in terms of location and working hours.
You have a keen perception with a good portion of quality understanding
Your energising attitude energises both your teams and your troik
