What’s in it for you?
We are now looking for a Scrum Master to the External Collaboration team within the ART/Cluster Insights and Product Development Support (a part of R&D Digital). You will coach the team to provide capabilities for our stakeholders to exchange data in a safe and efficient way!
The External Collaboration team is a key enabler of the data exchange at Volvo Cars together with our partners and suppliers. The vision is to enable transparency, collaborative decision-making and problem-solving across the company.
As the team name states, this team is about collaboration! The team interacts and integrates with products and product data from our partners within Geely Group, such as Geely, Polestar, Lync & Co etc. as well as with other suppliers. Good communication skills are needed in this position!
The data of interest to exchange is mainly around documentation of the car such as parts, CAD drawings and models, electrical schemas and software.
We have an agile team existing of product owner, business analysts, developers, and a tech lead – a total of 14 people - all with excellent skills and competencies waiting for a Scrum Master to remove roadblocks, empower the developers and help them thrive. The team takes pride in its high competence and business knowledge accompanied by a great team spirit and compassion.
What you’ll do
We are looking for a scrum master who is passionate about helping others to succeed. Your primary focus will be on optimizing the way of working within the team and make the team empowered!
You will take active part in the agile transformation of the products by coaching the team to improve agile abilities and by utilizing agile methods and SAFe framework principles to create business value continuously.
There are several products in the IPDS Product Cluster where product owners, scrum masters and the teams work together to deliver product value in alignment with the architectural runway. You foster a data driven approach and set and follow up targets for product metrics.
All our products have many users and many different stakeholder groups, and with these you need to build strong relationships where collaboration is vital.
You will also be art of the IPDS ART community and participate in Scrum Of Scrums with the other Scrum Masters and RTE, to make sure that we are aligned in the ART.
Do you fit the profile?
Most likely, you have a certification and experience as a Scrum Master, preferably from different organizations and global teams. You come from a leading role such as Scrum Master, Agile coach, Catalyst or similar and have experience in Azure DevOps, Jira or an equivalent system.
We believe that you are familiar with the Scaled Agile Framework, Scrum and DevOps Lean Agile methods. Lastly, you have previous experience in working with software development projects.

To succeed in this role, you need excellent communication skills, a strong drive, and the will to deliver on a high level. You are fluent in English; both written and spoken.
