We have a great opportunity to offer a shot at a challenging assignment at one of our interesting and important customers.

The assignment will include:

Plan and organize the work and assignments for the personnel in the Section.
Assure and supply needed competence and resources as requested from the projects.
Develop and expand the Section in accordance to needs and requests at ESS.
Provide all levels of ESS management with advice, information and other resources appropriate for the technical area.
Introduce and educate staff in design and engineering platform and in ESS overall routines.
Responsible for the standardization of process and piping (components/solutions) at ESS.
Develop and administrate governing and guiding procedures, rules and guidelines to assure that the output of design process is uniform and of high quality level.
Set requirements for development and configuration of CAD, PLM and other engineering tools related to plant and process design and engineering, e.g:
Review proposed designs and other documents performed by the Section and external collaborators.
Gain experiences from different work units, develop and transmit to the members of the Section.
The candidate will be involved in the coordination of the design activities together with Design and Engineering Group.

Required qualification:

Education in Mechanical Engineering; M.Sc. or similar
5 to 10 years in leading and coordinating engineering teams in the field of fluid systems (water treatment, HVAC, technical gases)
5 years in designing fluid systems
Experience in defining and managing budget
Relevant experience in developing best practises and processing requirements
Good knowledge of common norms and standards applicable for process and mechanical engineering and design, specifically PED and other relevant European directives
Knowledge of Aveva suite (or similar) is a plus
Experience from Gas & Oil or Pharmaceutical industry is a plus
Familiarity with P&ID’s and PFD’s.

Good written and verbal communications skills
Ability to work in an international, dynamic and changing environment
