Clavister was founded 1997 in Sweden.It's Research & Development and headquarters is situated in Örnsköldsvik and is in a phase of international expansion.Clavister needs to expand its Research & Development department with a skilled software developer who will be working primarily with design and development of Clavister's network security products.The position is based in Örnsköldsvik.


Job description
Clavister's Research & Development department is responsible for all development, production and maintenance of the products in the Clavister product portfolio.The department is also responsible for research-related activities based on the current product portfolio, as well as research tasks aiming at developing new products within the scope of Clavister's core business.

The dominating activity in the Research & Development department is being software development with all its tasks, such as design, implementation, testing and so forth.

The role as a Security Software Developer is to work primarily with designing, developing and testing Clavister's network security products.


Who are you?
.Ideally you have a relevant university or corresponding post gymnasium degree and several years of experience working in a software development in ANSI C
.Preferably, you have good experience in real-time systems and hardware-related development.
.You have thorough understanding and experience in TCP/IP-based network communications.Experience, knowledge and interest in the area of network security, firewalls and VPN products specifically, are a strong benefit.
.You have the ability to quickly learn new technologies and software and you are fluent in technical English, both spoken and written.

We are looking for a responsible individual who is used to work independently with minimal supervision as well as in larger teams and projects.
