Selling Project Manager

As a Selling Project Manager you will be managing 6 different print projects a year from its inception to the finished project. This includes being in charge of research, editorial, production and sales of each of these 6 reports. You will have the opportunity to meet and pitch to high-level Directors across all sectors of industry and work with some of the UK's leading journalists while putting together a publication.

It is an extremely demanding role in a high pressured sales environment, but if you do it the right way it is also immensely rewarding and profitable. Our client offers a very exciting salary and reward package for young and self-motivated high achievers.

You don't need to have any previous experience in the media industry - but you do need to be a great operator in whatever tasks and challenges you undertake. Great sales, networking and relationship building skills are also essential to succeed in this field.

Qualities and skills:
- Strong academic background, a Bachelor degree minimum (Business/Management/Economics preferable)
- Good organisational skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Strong sales and business-development experience
- A demonstrable and sustainable high level of energy and enthusiasm
- Clear entrepreneurial flair and passion for doing business
- Able to work and perform in a high pressured environment
- Sense of humour and outgoing
- Happy to work as part of a start-up
- Interest in current affairs/industries/publishing
