Senior Area Sales Director

We are looking for a GTM Senior Area Sales Director who has experience of growing digital business across existing and new Automotive & Manufacturing enterprises. This role will cut across a vast ecosystem of digital technologies such as UX & UI, Digital Engagement Platforms, Modern Application Development, Multi-Channel Commerce, Cloud & Application Modernisation, API & Micro-services, BPM & RPA & Workforce Productivity Platforms, Mobility, Data and Advance Analytics, SaaS technologies like Salesforce, Agile & DevOps adoption, Industry and process consulting.
Responsibilities will include:
· Driving growth of DnA business in some of the existing and new Automotive/Manufacturing customers. This will include building client relationships and leading opportunity addressal. Most customers are in some level of maturity in their Digital Transformation Journey and you should be comfortable talking to them about various solution choices they have and a recommended approach from HCL DnA team.
· Be consultative in your selling approach as customers are expecting you to be there strategic digital partner
· You may end up having to manage large & complex opportunities and that will require you to work with cross functional teams in HCL and bring together technical and commercial solutions
· Engage with the ecosystem as well – ecosystem of platform providers, product partners and other strategic relationships that will help you and your customer in the digital transformation journey.
· Drive solution teams within HCL to come up with market leading solution approaches in Digital and Analytics areas.
Qualification for this role and past experiences:
· Minimum 15 years of experience preferably with a Tier 1 IT/Digital Outsourcing organization
· You should have a track record in building and managing client relationships and shaping client’s digital spend. In this role you would be required to carry an annual PnL goal of $20Mn onwards and hence you should have credibility of handling clients of this size and complexity.
· Experience in consultative sales understanding clients digital value chains and bringing HCL’s best to create business outcomes for those value chains.
· Candidate should have good knowledge of Automotive and Manufacturing business, emerging opportunities, and threat
· Strong business acumen; drive existing and new business through conceptualising strategies, developing key accounts, establishing strategic partnerships
· Be collaborative in nature and work with solution teams, delivery team and other units in HCL to achieve the desired outcomes
· Commercially savvy: understands targets, revenue, and margins, forecast
· Fluent in spoken and written English language
