Senior Buyer of Electrical and Electronic and Software

Adecco is looking for a Senior Buyer of Electrical and Electronic and Software to the automotive industry! 

Main Responsibilities
• Collaborate with group platforms and develop the supplier base to meet cost, quality and
on time delivery, and develop new suppliers to meet project objectives
• Strive for cost savings opportunities and global purchasing KPIs in line with company
KPIs
• Develop global sourcing strategy for dedicated commodities and maximize the
localization in China
• Collaborate with project team and ensure procurement deliveries according to project
requirements
• Design, optimization and adaptations of the sourcing process based on the current
performance, stakeholder needs and overall business objective
• Collaborate with group company purchasing team, team up cross functions and align
strategical action plans
• Proactively drive the company to reach Quality, Cost and Delivery demands in respective
projects and lessons learned

Deliveries
• High Focus on project deliverables
 - Quickly connect with the different functions of the project team
 - Understand parts to be sourced
 - Prepare the potential supplier list and present the list to stakeholders
 - Prepare RFQ, send out RFQ, negotiate and secure best supplier choice for
the company
 - Prepare the presentation of supplier choice and present to management -
business case (NPV), supplier evaluation (logistic, sustainability, financial D&D,
etc..), support R&D to get sign-off technical specification.
 - On board suppliers after supplier selection
 - Mitigate cost creep in the budget due to late changes of technical specification
 - Collaborate with purchasing / R&D
 - Secure all activities with large number of suppliers in a short period of time to
meet the project time plan.

Competence Specification
• 5 years+ purchasing experience from the automotive industry
• University degree in engineering, business management or equivalent
• Preferred previous experience working in automotive indsutry
• Strong project management skills
• Preferred strong knowledge of vehicle components of EE&SW (Electrical and Electronic
and software)
• Knowledge of supplier base of EE&SW
• Sharp discernment and powerful market analysis ability
• Strong global and group companies working network, or capability to develop a strong
network, with strong communication skills and fluent in English
• Ability to drive and complete tasks independently, task oriented and high driving spirit
• Smart and nimble mind-set, with efficient working performance
• Positive and passionate, nothing is impossible mind-set, good team player
• Cross culture and international experience will be an advantage (specially of China and
UK)

About the position
The assignment is a concultancy position with employment at Adecco. Start will be as soon as posible and initially last until end of December 2021.
