You will become a member of an agile development team with great team spirit. We are now looking for a Senior C++ developer for Usage Authorization. If you have a passion for security in embedded system and are inspired by our mission to give our customer a better car experience every day, then keep reading!

What you’ll do
The team is responsible for designing and creating secure system to protect against unauthorized use of the vehicle. We own, design, and develop functions to prevent illegal start and driving away of the car. The team works with different levels of solution for the entire project lifecycle from function concept to end-to-end verification. The team works in close collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders towards every functionality.

As Senior software developer of usage authorization functionality you will be an important contributor in making software for ensuring driver authentication on engine nodes and developing software for new legal requirements. You will implement software to protect against unauthorized use of the car and make sure that the car is drivable with a valid key/device. You will be involved in all stages from requirement definition to validation and verification. You will be part of the agile team and take an active lead for the C++ developers within the team and neighboring teams as well as managing interfaces with stakeholders internally and externally.

You and Your Skills
You have minimum 4-10 years of experience of software development of embedded safety critical systems and coding in C++ on Linux/QNX, MatLab and are well familiar with how to design software. You have an educational background of a Bachelor’s or a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent. You have proven hands-on experience in design and implementation of efficient memory management and buffering, parallel processing, inter process communication and time series data processing & management. You should have some basic knowledge of software verification in different test setups. Experience with CANoe and CANalyzer as well as Scrum Master knowledge are meritorious.

You have a mind-set of a driven team-oriented and self-motivated person with a technical focus. You are an organized person well acquainted will agile methods. You have excellent English skills both verbally and in writing. Continuously learning and exploring to innovate describes your personality. As a person you are customer focused and committed to deliver high quality. You are flexible and can proceed your work without having all facts at hand before you start. Building relations come naturally for you, to gain technical insights, you will need a network that includes people from all areas in the company. You have excellent communication and documentation skills.
