Senior CAE Engineer within CFD Simulations

Assignment 
The role involves working as an Analysis Engineer in the field of Aerodynamics. This is a temporary position designed to fill in during a leave period. The role is situated within a dedicated group in the Energy Efficiency department, which is part of a larger Vehicle Development division in a research and development setting. The main focus of this role is to lead and support Aerodynamics, aiming to enhance and optimize the aerodynamic qualities of upcoming vehicle models, considering each model's unique requirements. Key responsibilities include efficient generation, handling, and provision of aerodynamic data critical for vehicle projections and certifications. Collaboration with various engineering teams and the Product Design department is crucial to ensure reduced air resistance for energy efficiency and to maintain appropriate lift forces for stable driving dynamics.

Your main tasks are:
- Plan, prepare and perform Aerodynamic wind tunnel test assignments and CFD simulations.
- Conduct analysis and create recommendations.

All tasks are carried out in close cooperation with other team members. Larger tasks are shared.

Qualifications
We are looking for you who have/are:
- University degree, at least M.Sc. or equivalent in Engineering
- High skills in fluid dynamics and a proven record of experience in that field.
- Skills in CFD (e.g. STAR) and CAD geometry work (e.g. CATIA/ANSA) and experience from measurements.
- High level of communication skills and have great presentation skills.
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written
- High IT maturity and experienced user of Office 360
- Experience from working with aerodynamics in the automotive industry is advantageous 
- Experience from wind tunnel testing is a merit.
