Aurobay is now looking for a Senior Category Buyer who will be a key member of the Dressed Engine team. Your responsibility will be within Turbo, E-Charger & EGR systems.

As a Senior Category Buyer you will collaborate in a global surrounding with major stakeholders such as: R&D, SQM, Manufacturing, Strategy/Sales and After Market.

To be successful in this role you are expected to develop and deploy future strategies within the commodity, work proactively with your stakeholders to understand your product/service, its market, supply base and potential innovation to find ways to increase value, cost, quality, and sustainability.

Main tasks

• Responsibility within Turbo, Supercharger/E-Charger & EGR systems
• Sourcing activities, supplier market-spend analysis and contract management
• Conduct and lead new sourcing
• Insure implementation of contractual commercial reductions
• Actively contribute to cost saving activities and lead negotiations for a more competitive and sustainable value chain
• Lead negotiation of all kinds, to deliver in accordance with procurement priorities, goals, and business plan
• Support operational buyers in the day-to-day operations

Qualifications and personality

• Commercial or Technical Master’s degree.
• Several years of work experience within procurement in automotive or industrial environment
• Negotiation is one of your strongest areas
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both verbally and written

To be successful in this position you need to be a commercial and result driven person with excellent communications skills. You are motivated and creative in order to find new solutions and opportunities and dare to challenge the status quo. You have the ability to see the whole picture of a business case.

You are a strong team player who are honest, with high integrity and actively work with self-development. You have the ability to handle parallel projects, like challenges and are focused on setting and reaching goals.
