Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Cloud Security Engineer to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
Strengthen the client’s cloud security capabilities during the transition from on-prem to Google Cloud
Design, configure and enhance security solutions in GCP, with a focus on Google SecOps, Security Command Center, Cloud Armor and Google Threat Intelligence
Develop, implement and maintain GitHub Advanced Security features, including code and pipeline security, vulnerability scanning and policy governance
Collaborate with Cyber Security, ASC teams and development units to improve SecOps maturity and ensure secure, efficient CI/CD flows
Provide advisory guidance on cloud security best practices, architecture, controls and risk mitigation
Support the organization during cloud migration by identifying security gaps, proposing improvements and ensuring compliance with modern security principles
Drive work proactively, plan and structure assignments, and deliver high-quality results within agreed timelines
What you bring:
Minimum two years of experience working in a GCP production environment as a cloud engineer or similar
Experience from at least one assignment in a production environment using GCP
At least one year of experience working with Kubernetes-based architectures
Academic education in cloud security or equivalent knowledge through certifications or professional experience
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform) and automation of cloud security controls
Hands-on experience implementing Zero Trust, Least Privilege and DevSecOps principles
Experience with GitHub Advanced Security, including vulnerability management, code scanning and secret scanning
Practical experience with Google SecOps and Security Command Center
Certifications in cloud security and cybersecurity (advantageous)
Experience in incident management, threat analysis and work with cloud-based SIEM platforms (advantageous)
Background from complex, transaction-intensive B2C environments with high demands on availability and security (advantageous)
Documented development background and experience creating or improving cloud security policies or technical guidelines (advantageous)
Experience working with Google Threat Intelligence and Cloud Armor (advantageous)
Fluent in English and Swedish
