Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
Build, optimize, and support existing and new data products with end-to-end ownership.
Manage CI/CD pipelines, Terraform, and GCP infrastructure, promoting DevOps principles.
Ensure data products meet standards for security, scalability, observability, and performance.
Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to define visions and identify opportunities for new data products.
Engage with cross-functional teams to support data mesh concepts and best practices.
Drive continuous improvement, addressing technical debt, and enhancing team processes.
Stay updated on advancements in data, analytics, and cloud technologies to improve solutions.

What you bring:
4+ years of hands-on experience as a Data Engineer or Software Engineer in cloud technologies and infrastructure.
Proficiency in data formats such as Avro and Parquet, and query languages like SQL.
Programming experience in Python, Java, or Scala with a strong understanding of data modeling techniques.
Familiarity with NoSQL and RDBMS databases and experience with data visualization tools.
A collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
Motivation to deliver high-quality solutions in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
Advantageous experience with GCP tools (Dataflow, Dataproc, BigQuery), data processing frameworks (Beam, Spark, Hive, Flink), and retail industry knowledge.
