About the team 

We are the centralised Data Science Team within the Advanced Analytics & AI organisation, with the mission to accelerate the AI transformation by identifying opportunities for the application of data science, artificial intelligence and machine learning throughout the company, and inspire internal users to take data and AI-driven actions in their daily job.

In this position, you will be asked to be part of the team to develop data-driven solutions for our business partners. You can work in Gothenburg or Stockholm.

What you will do:

•    Work closely with product managers, business stakeholders, and users to understand business problems and processes, translating them to data science problems.
•    Empathise with internal users to understand their pain points and help improve their efficiency by providing good and timely solutions.
•    Develop hypotheses, integrate internal and external data sets, analyse them and effectively communicate your findings to both a technical and non-technical audience.
•    Willing to roll up your sleeves to learn and apply new things and tools to accelerate time-to-value.
•    Manage stakeholders’ expectations and educating them regarding AI and Machine Learning.
•    Work with other data scientists, software engineers, and platform team to scale machine learning solutions.

Who you are: 
We believe that you have the following skills:

•    5+ years in applying different data science techniques to various business problems.
•    5+ years of experience working directly and educating business stakeholders and users.
•    Able to thrive in a dynamic and ambiguous environment.
•    Good understanding of machine-learning techniques and statistical tools.
•    Good coding skills, including Python and SQL.
•    Structured way of working, and good documentation skills.
•    Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and spoken (ability to present detailed technical analysis, assumptions, and recommendations succinctly).

Good to have
•    Able to translate data into stories using good visualisation.
•    Strong commitment to driving positive change.
•    Startup experience and / or applying machine learning in B2B contexts.
