About us
Are you passionate about Electrification and want be a part of the transformation of Volvo Cars into a sustainable car industry? At 97720 Inverter HW & Electric Machine Complete we contribute to the company target to electrify 10% of the cars in 2020 and to have 1 million electrified cars on the road in 2025! We are expanding and looking for a new Developer Electric Machine Complete to our team of 10 unique individuals.

What you’ll do
As Developer at Electric Machine Complete you will work with requirements from System Designers to deliver Design Prerequisites, Technical Regulations, Contractual Elements and Compliance Agreements with suppliers. You will be working with quality assurance disciplines such as FMEAs and participate in test activities and follow up on supplier verification. You will lead technical design reviews, internal and supplier joint reviews. Your tasks will also include cost engineering, benchmarking and reporting status/progress. You will have close contact with other areas within VCC Research & Development, Procurement and manufacturing.                  

Do you fit the profile?
You have a university degree within Electric Power Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics or relevant work experience.
You have experience relative to development of Electrical Machines.
You are a person with a data driven approach, you like to keep a great structure and are business oriented. Your decisions always follow that line.

In order to make an impact, you have a positive energy that you like to share with others; you are a team player! To succeed in this role we see that you are a skilled communicator in English, used to be transparent. In order to fully enjoy the role you are comfortable networking and have the ability to take the lead.

Further, we see that you possess a driver’s license B.
