As our next Senior Digital Project Leader, we believe you come with some formal qualifications and experiences:
• Formal qualifications in Project Management
• 5-8 years of experience in leading projects
• Knowledge and experience from working with various technology platforms
• Successful track record of managing business change
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and communicate with senior business leaders and Technology Leadership
Ability to coordinate and direct activities (including virtual) to help achieve project objectives
Ability to drive long-term business objectives
• Sound judgements with ability to make timely and effective decisions
• Ability to understand the complexity of IKEA business and the role of technology as an integrated part of the business


YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
You will be leading and driving multiple projects while mentoring and supporting digital project team members. You contribute to common ways of working and ensure they are followed. You work closely with the Digital Project Team Manager in different development initiatives in the team as well as on Digital Project Office level. Furthermore, you will be:
• Responsible for planning, managing and delivering assigned projects, including time, cost, scope and quality according to expectations
• Identify, mitigate, monitor and control risks to keep projects on track and create awareness on time in case of issues
• Manage dependencies and interfaces between projects and line organization to ensure common expectations as well as prioritize projects and communicate these to the project portfolio to ensure the digital strategy
• Drive continuous improvement of quality and performance in assigned projects in order to ensure outcomes are met
Manage stakeholders by identifying, planning and follow up on stakeholders in order to secure a common approach and expectation towards the project deliveries
• Provide Digital Project Office Team Manager with insight to the resource capacity and resource planning in own projects to secure a better utilisation of team resources
• Work in compliance with all aspects of how we work with projects as planning, execution and quality assurance process, steering and follow up in order to promote best practices
• Provide support and guidance to assist in the development of project and junior leaders as well as to encourage good practices
• Participate in Steering Group Meeting for the projects governing
This role is located in Malmö or Amsterdam and you will report to the Digital Project Office Manager.
