Senior Engineer - Accessories

As Senior Engineer - Accessories you will be part of our creative and dynamic global Service Engineering team, taking responsibility for the delivery of accessories in the vehicle projects, from concept stage through design release and verification.

The position is new and provides ample opportunity to work with the engineering related topics in close connection with the markets.

The work includes creation of accessory strategies and process as well as follow up of and communications of set strategies, making sure that the accessory requirements are taken care of within R&D. You will need to create a global accessory structure with high attention to a profitable accessory business – the best possible accessory portfolio with all the markets in mind. The work is done in close cooperation with CEVT R&D and the aftersales team in Hangzhou and Gothenburg.

The position is based in Gothenburg but with a Global responsibility. The position will require travel on regular basis.

Responsibilities and tasks

- Create a clever accessory (A-C class) portfolio and strategy for L-brand with all markets taken into consideration.
- Making sure accessory related requirements are taken care of in all vehicle projects
- Drive the development of A to C-class accessories towards R&D and other suppliers

Requirements

- Excellent command / highly proficient in spoken and written English
- Networking, communicative with business acumen and mind-set
- Structured and used to summarize and present the status of your work
- See problems as challenges and look for solutions
- Several years of experience from similar type of work.
- B.Sc. or several years of relevant experience
