Cab Body is part of a European organization, responsible for development of the Cab Body structure (BIW), Door structure (DIW), the Components connected to the door and Surface treatment of the cab.
Within Cab Body, we work in team together with product design, aftermarket, manufacturing, purchasing and others. We develop new and advanced in-house engineered cab bodies for our future trucks, while continually adapting our current products to different market demands. We also work together with other engineering sites around the world. Working in this international environment is a great challenge, which is placing exciting demands on our employees.
We are now looking for a senior engineer to strengthen our team in the area of BIW/DIW design.

Tasks and Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for leading the development of BIW/DIW structures, from early pre-studies through to concept selection phases within projects
- You lead a cross functional team to develop and deliver fully verified technical solutions fulfilling product requirements
- Your role is wide and will range from design work in Catia V5 to lead your own team as well as work in your cross functional network
- You will participate in a global network of BIW engineers and be part of the development of roadmaps and other strategies as well as proposing and executing the Advanced Engineering studies needed to support them

Profile and Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of experience in BIW/DIW design from trucks or cars, with at least 5 years working within concept and feasibility
- Competent Catia V5 modeller with experience from Surface design
- You have worked in leading roles before and have a proven ability to take responsibility and lead tasks and people within your area
- Good knowledge in written and spoken English
- M.Sc. degree in engineering or similar
