COMPANY PRESENTATION Division Car Accessories Europe/Asia is the largest division within the Thule Group, the world s leading supplier of load carriers for cars.The Division manufactures and sells roof racks, roof boxes, bike carriers and accessories under the premium brand Thule.The Division, based in Hillerstorp, Sweden, has six production facilities in Europe and Asia.The Group also offers snow chains, trailers and accessories for motor homes/caravans under the brands König, Brenderup, Thule Rental and Omnistor.Sales amount to about SEK 5,2 billion.The company is based in Malmö, Sweden.Majority owner is the UK-based, private equity company Candover.Role Description Responsible for continuous development and use of structural and CFD analysis tool.Be proactive in working within the development projects to enhance the use of simulations as a way to speed up product development.Work closely with colleagues in the Simulations and Vaildations team and with development engineers and project managers in the various development projects. Key Deliverables Increased and improved utilizations of simulations in our development work.Innovative simulation solutions.Structured collaborative definitions regarding the balance between simulations and physical validations. Key Challenges To drive the development of simulation tools, jointly with the manager in the department, within the company.To quickly grasp the regulatory and customer demands of Thules products.To take an overall product design view in assisting the design engineers on how they can improve their designs. Reporting You will be a member of the Simulations and Validations Team, reporting to the Manager (Fredrik Larsson).
