We are looking for a Senior Financial Accountant for our accounting team based in Luxembourg. This role will involve collaborating closely with other entities and the reporting team. You will report to the accounting manager and assist in the accounting process. Your responsibilities Your remit will be highly varied and will include but won?t be limited to: Day to day accounting for our subsidiaries located in Nordic region VAT and intrastat reporting activities Manage the month-end close Preparation of monthly/quarterly/yearly internal and external reporting in accordance with reporting procedures Daily bank clearing Liaise with country located business managers and controlling department Liaise with statutory auditors and external advisors Monitoring of bad debts and cash flow forecasts Supervision of a team of 2/3 accountants Preparation and filing of tax returns Liaise with payroll agency Assist accounting manager on specific projects Your profile Graduated in accounting and economics, professional qualification being an advantage +/- 5 years accounting experience preferably in an international environment Experience of the Swedish/Nordic region and IFRS accounting Knowledge of Swedish/Nordic region tax regulations Knowledge in accounting systems Fluency in English and Swedish with Norwegian and Danish being an advantage Good command of Excel Analytical minded Ability to manage and prioritize workloads to meet deadlines Ability to multi-task Enthusiastic and entrepreneurial Team player but able to work independently on specific projects Communicative, hands-on, assertive Flexible Willing to travel occasionally
