Hi, the Code team at Fall Damage here. We're building an awesome competitive FPS called ALARA Prime and we're looking for a Senior Gameplay Programmer to join our crew.
In order for us to succeed with our mission, we need to work as a team. We're looking for a collaborative, open-minded Gameplay Programmer who solves technical challenges always with the player experience in mind.

The gameplay experience is crucial for the success of the game. This is where you come in...
You'll be part of our Code team (10 peers) and together you will refine the feel and tactical importance of core gameplay elements, as well as develop a broader set of gameplay elements that integrate seamlessly with the existing gameplay core.
As a more senior member, you are expected to guide and mentor team members, collaborate with other crafts, and be proactive in how we work. There will probably always be more than one alternative to the solutions we're building and the connected discussions regarding "how" and "why" we build those solutions, are something you enjoy diving into.

Perhaps you are currently working at another studio or maybe you have a strong desire to join the industry, either way, we want you to be a humble and open person, passionate about gaming.
We believe that you truly enjoy collaborating with people from different crafts to understand what tools and systems are needed to create an epic gaming experience. And of course, to come up with and develop those solutions together with your delightful team.
- 5+ years of experience in the gaming industry, building (and hopefully releasing) awesome games
- C/C++ is home base
- Professional experience working with Unreal Engine 4/5
- A solid grasp of applied 3D math
- Fluent in English
- Experience from AAA titles and/or developing shooters

What about relocation?
If you're an EU citizen authorized to work in Sweden, we're all for it! We handle relocations on a case-by-case basis but will be able to assist with the most important part, which is finding a home for you. Unfortunately, we don't have the capability to offer work-permit solutions for non-EU citizens at the moment, something we hope to be able to provide as we grow in the future.
