About our product and the team


We have a small tech team of 3 full-time developers + a CTO (who also codes). We work in three week sprints in a Scrum team together with the CPO, a product manager, a product designer and a QA.

We focus on outcome rather than output and value business impact and practical solutions over following the latest tech trends.

Our platform is built on PHP/Laravel in the backend, VueJS & NuxtJS in the frontend and Wordpress for our Magazine CMS. We’re cloud native and run our services in Kubernetes, CloudSQL and MemoryStore on Google Cloud.



The opportunity

We’re seeking a Senior Full-Stack Developer who is passionate about building exceptional web applications. You’ll be a key player in our tech team, working closely with our product team to deliver high-quality, scalable, and innovative features. In addition to your development responsibilities, you’ll act as the deputy to our CTO Anders, and take on leadership in designing solutions with other stakeholders. During Anders’ parental leave (Summer/Fall 2025), you’ll step in as the interim tech lead, leading our technical team and driving strategic technical decisions.

Requirements


You have full-stack experience and have built web applications with a JS/SPA frontend talking to a JSON API in the backend

You have started a project from scratch. You might have lead a team of developers or been a tech lead, or built an impressive side project

You have strong communication skills and can talk about tech with the non-techies

You’re motivated by delivering solutions that positively impact the business



Nice to have


You have experience with Kubernetes and Google Cloud or similar

You have dipped your toes into the AI pool and have prompt engineering experience or have built AI powered features/applications

You acknowledge that hating PHP as a language was a fad in the 2010’s among hipster programmers
