About the Role
You will join an electronics and software environment where vehicle functions are developed across body, comfort and climate areas. In this role, you work with the full development chain: from defining concepts and functional requirements to supporting verification, validation and implementation.
You will collaborate closely with engineering teams, IT and external suppliers, and act as an important technical interface for body function development. Job DescriptionYou develop and maintain body control concepts, functional specifications and functional requirements.
You act as a technical interface for body function development, including requirement alignment, supplier follow-up, release coordination and issue handling.
You review and follow up software and system issues in issue tracking tools such as SWIM.
You drive technical discussions with suppliers and help secure implementation according to agreed specifications, processes and standards.
You support function integration, testing, verification and validation activities for body functions.
You work closely with international stakeholders across engineering teams, brands and suppliers.
You contribute to innovation and adaptation of vehicle functions for European markets together with the wider function team.
RequirementsM.Sc. or B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or an equivalent field.
7+ years of experience from automotive electrical systems, electrical architecture and/or software development.
Knowledge of function development processes and automotive software ways of working.
Knowledge of automotive best practices, standards and regulations.
Nice to haveExperience from function development in a large automotive organization.
