Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Functional Safety Engineer for Battery Systems to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
Conduct functional safety analyses, including FMEA, FTA, and FMEDA, to identify and mitigate potential risks.
Define and implement safety concepts for battery systems in compliance with ISO 26262 standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate safety requirements into the system design and development process.
Develop and review safety-related documentation, including hazard analysis, safety plans, and verification reports.
Support testing and validation activities to ensure safety goals are met throughout the product lifecycle.
Monitor and manage safety compliance for the project, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations.
Provide expert guidance on safety-critical aspects of battery system design and functionality.

What you bring:
Proven experience as a Functional Safety Engineer, preferably in battery systems or related domains.
In-depth knowledge of ISO 26262 and its application in automotive or industrial systems.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in safety analysis techniques such as FMEA, FTA, and FMEDA.
Hands-on experience with safety concept development and implementation.
Ability to work independently and deliver results in a fast-paced project environment.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Relevant engineering degree or equivalent technical qualification.
Fluent in English and Swedish
