Senior IT Infrastructure Architect

The IT infrastructure department in Scania develops, delivers and maintains all necessary components and services in on-premises and cloud based infrastructure for global application development and deployment, for use by the Scania business entities on a global scale. Just now we are looking for an inspirational senior architect and leader to take the development and control of our global infrastructural to a new level.

As senior architect in the Global Sites IT Infrastructure team you will be active in defining new and updated architectures and strategies that will allow business entities anywhere on the globe to work more secure and effectively, making use of new and existing technology in a coherent and standardized way.

You will work in a small team of architects, our Management and other senior experts to drive the development, planning and control of strategic blueprints, designs and architectures.

You work amongst other will cover: 


• Contribute to Scania Global Infastructure Strategy and other strategic initiatives
• Define and update architectures for global sites and the integration in the central based IT infrastructure
• Involvement as IT Infrastructure architecture authority in critical global IT projects
• Drive and contribute to the IT architecture blueprint for the global commercial business units

Your profile

You are eager, inspire teams, apply servant leadership principals, and are known for creativity and new ideas. You have at least 10+ years experience, hold a relevant academic education or equivalent work experience in the area of work, excellent understanding of infrastructure architectures in general, modern networks, authentication, security, Azure/AWS services, and end-user connectivity and services. You are well informed on technology developments, and can apply best practices from experience. 

You can communicate easily at any level in the organisation and likes to operate in a multicultural international environment with respect for the individual.
