Senior Java Consultant | Stockholm

We are currently looking for passionate experienced and result-oriented candidates for the role of a Senior Java Consultant with a professional background and exemplary concepts to join our team.


Key Responsibilities:
As a Java Developer, you will collaborate with other developers to create various applications and backend systems that are primarily used by our customer service.


You will primarily be involved in backend development.


We write code in Java 8-15 and use REST for APIs. Ember and Javascript are used in our frontend.


Spring Boot, Git, Jenkins, Docker, Maven, and JUnit are some of the other tools and techniques we employ.


Many of our applications are containerized, so knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift would be beneficial.


We are responsible for finding the best technical solution on the requirements in our prioritised backlog as a team and in close collaboration with our internal clients.


We are committed to delivering requirements that add the most value while keeping the client and end-users in mind. Our working style is characterised by a strong sense of teamwork, a lack of pretension, high ambition, and a focus on the client. That means we occasionally assist each other on tasks that are outside of our individual purview, such as testing a new service or facilitating retros.




Education, Expertise, and experience requirements:
You must have prior experience working with Java and REST. It would also be advantageous if you have prior experience with agile development.



Other:
Our client's IT development organisation currently has approximately 200 people, and you will be a member of the IT Development - Customer Management team, which has 23 people.


They are in charge of CRM, customer service applications, invoice layout, and the marketing automation platform.


The team is diverse and dynamic, with people from various nationalities and roles and responsibilities such as developers, testers, product owners, and business analysts.
