Senior Manager Electrolyte & Material Validation

Northvolt has an exciting job possibility for an experienced manager specialized in the field om Lithium Ion Battery development. You will be contributing from start to finish in building one of the first large scale European battery factories, which will play an important role in the transformation to a carbon free society.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Managing electrolyte material development part to end up with the successful results
· Wide experiences and know-how to lead the technologies/materials
· Responsibility for the materials from the development stage to the mass production including Quality control plan
· Leading and cooperating with the other departments and suppliers to implement new material into the projects
· Advanced liquid electrolyte mixing and evaluation of electrolyte properties
· Advanced liquid electrolyte formulation and cell evaluation
· Development of new additives and related electrochemical analysis
· Electrolyte and cell chemistry related efforts to ensure qualification for commercial cell projects
· Electrolyte R&D with external suppliers/partners
· Investigation and technical identification for promising electrolyte material
· Develop intellectual property to secure a competitive position
· Preferably 10+ years industrial experience in R&D of electrolyte materials
