Senior Manager – Battery Management Systems (BMS)
We are looking for an experienced and visionary Senior Manager – System BMS to lead a highly skilled team focused on battery management systems (BMS), algorithm development, and model-based design. This is a strategic role at the forefront of cutting-edge energy solutions, where you'll drive technical excellence, shape roadmaps, and guide the integration of BMS into next-generation battery systems.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that system-level solutions meet technical requirements, are delivered on time, and align with the company’s broader innovation strategy. This position is with one of Scania’s portfolio companies.
Your Role:
Lead and mentor a team of BMS, algorithm, and model-based design engineers
Define technical roadmaps aligned with the product development lifecycle
Ensure successful project delivery by managing team resources, performance, and budgets
Oversee the technical quality of deliverables and ensure alignment with system requirements
Collaborate with engineering and project leaders for seamless system integration
Provide hands-on guidance and technical leadership when facing complex challenges

What You Bring:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field
12+ years of engineering experience, including 4+ years leading technical teams
Deep knowledge of battery systems, algorithms, and model-based design
Proven track record of managing complex projects in fast-paced, tech-driven environments
Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills
Passion for mentoring and developing talent
