Working in a transformational environment is an opportunity to think on your feet. You’ll be involved in the following areas:
Drive the execution and delivery of new and improved materials projects
Act as a business SME for all relevant non-woven queries
Proactively research new material formulations and prospective business uses
Take a lead role in project planning, development and documentation
Hold accountability for delivery in assigned design control roles for development and change projects
Ensuring technical documentation is up to date and in line with regulatory standards
Maintaining existing and developing knowledge of new nonwoven based materials
Securing supply for existing product solutions by working with internal partners and material suppliers
Suggesting continuous improvements to processes, work instructions and ways of working
Focus on sustainable materials and increasing sustainable development
Taking the lead for technical aspects during discussions and negotiations with appointed suppliers and acting as a subject matter partner to procurement and SQA for material related questions

What you’ll need
Clear work history with non-woven and/or textiles is essential for this role
Prior knowledge of product development and its links to manufacturing
Previous experience working in similar highly regulated environment
Prior exposure to Global Regulatory Requirements and standards
Solid understanding of Quality Management Systems and design control
Academic background in engineering or product design would be beneficial
Fluent written and spoken English language
Specific work history with medical devices or hygienic products would also be advantageous
Experience of working with sustainability area is a merit
