Senior Mechanical Engineering Design Expert

Responsibilites: Responsible for designing the indoor chassis for Core Network products, with consideration for thermals, acoustics, power, EMI, electro-mechanical reliability, etc. Focus on providing solutions to key mechanical issues including usability, installation, UCD (User-Centred Design), etc. Additionally responsible for the improvement of manufacture and reducing cost. Qualifications Required: Bachelor+ degree on mechanical engineering. 7+ years work experience on mechanical development in telecom equipment, 3+ years work experience with integrated system design, including power, mechanical, thermal, and environmental. Familiar with Pro/E or alternative 3D CAD system. Experience with chassis and cabinet design, any ATCA or CPCI mechanical design experience would be an advantage. Knowledge of heat dissipation, acoustic noise, power, and environmental testing. Familiar with applicable industry codes & standards (IEC, ETS, NEBS, PIGMG3.X ). Familiar with mechanical manufacturing technology. Additional skills required: Fluent English (written & verbal). Strong analytical skills & a systematic design methodology. Excellent communications and presentation skills. Experience with working in a multi-national, cross-functional, and multi-cultural teams. Self-motivated, solution-oriented, and flexible in handling a diverse and challenging workload
