Start snarast. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Job Description - Senior Software Developer - We initiate, drive and participate in technology studies and secure technology for future products. We answer the question of how technologies will work in the phones. We become involved from the first concept study of a new platform release where we design the HW and SW architecture of the Sony Ericsson open OS platforms. We also source the key components for platforms that go on to become the next Walkman, Cybershot, or leading technology for the future. - In short, we secure the technology that will put Sony Ericsson phones at the very top of mobile telephony. We have created a new department for Open OS system engineering in which we would like to see you as a member of the team. - Working language: English Your role will be within the following areas: . Participate as SW Systems Engineer in platform projects . Carry out performance analysis on system level . Perform system studies and technology studies to drive new technology. Competence: . Many years of experience from software development and system design. . Experience from the telecom business embedded development . Experience from Symbian is a plus.
