Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Object & Test Engineer to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
Manage and maintain test equipment, lab infrastructure, and test objects.
Plan, coordinate, and execute lab and field testing of the sensor system in lab environments and on vehicles.
Ensure proper calibration, setup, and functionality of test systems.
Develop and implement test plans, procedures, and protocols for validating performance in both controlled and real-world environments.
Collect, analyze, and report data to ensure comprehensive evaluation of sensor behavior.
Collaborate with test engineers, validation teams, and software and hardware developers to ensure seamless testing operations.
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues during testing and provide feedback to development teams.
Maintain documentation of test procedures, results, and modifications for traceability and continuous improvement.
What you bring:
Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in lab management, automotive testing, or validation of sensor systems.
Experience in designing and developing test setups and evaluation environments.
Hands-on experience with vehicle instrumentation, sensor calibration, and test object management.
Strong knowledge of vehicle sensor technology and automotive testing methods.
Proficiency in testing tools, automation frameworks, and data analysis software (Python, MATLAB, CANoe).
Experience with environmental and durability testing for automotive sensors.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Strong communication and documentation skills.
Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
