Senior Process Engineer - Water and Wastewater

The Senior Process Engineer is the process technical expert for the design, development and implementation of new water and wastewater treatment processes.[ This position develops processes/products and supports the engineering team by building and supporting Water & Wastewater's achieving excellence in developing and launching new product offers.This research and development position also provides Manufacturing, Sales, and Marketing with technical support and assistance.[ The Senior Process Engineer is a key position that helps Water & Wastewater establish a world class engineering and technology competency to create a long term strategic advantage.The position will be responsible for development of new products, new applications, and improving existing products through computer modeling, mathematical evaluation, laboratory, and pilot testing of water and wastewater treatment processes.[ RESPONSIBILITIES: .[Lead water and wastewater projects and initiatives with broad scope and high impact on the business.[ Responsible for major and complex assignments with long term business implications.[ Contribute to the overall strategy and manage complex issues within functional areas of expertise..[Develop and invent practical and innovative ways to meet goals..[Design the approach to meet technical and program requirements.[ Responsible for overall development of Process Flow Diagrams (PFD), mass balances, Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID), and measurement and control systems..[Promote new technologies, implement best practices and be the internal consultant for major projects to ensure that quality designs are created..[Generate and implement development plans and schedules for new products, new applications, and/or new concepts..[Manage the development schedule and testing expense budget..[Ensure that processes developed meet quality and reliability requirements, promote use of new technologies and utilize the companies' best practices. REQUIREMENTS: .[Practical experience designing and developing water and wastewater processes, instrumentation and control philosophy.[[ Minimum 5 years engineering product/process development experience in municipal water and wastewater treatment design..[Knowledge of water and wastewater treatment equipment and process..[Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and lead project teams to successful project completion..[Minimum 4 year Engineering degree or equivalent.[- BS/MS Environmental or Chemical Engineering, Biology or Chemistry.[- Coursework in water and wastewater processes with working understanding of conventional water and wastewater treatment systems, and industry standards.[ .[Advanced degree in field of Environmental Science / Chemical Engineering / Chemistry with background knowledge of microbiology, statistics, chemistry, water and wastewater processes a plus.- BS/MS Environmental or Chemical Engineering, Biology or Chemistry.- Coursework in water and wastewater processes with working understanding of conventional water and wastewater treatment systems, and industry standards.[ Advanced degree in field of Environmental Science / Chemical Engineering / Chemistry with background knowledge of microbiology, statistics, chemistry, water and wastewater processes a plus.Please submit your application before 2011-01-16.
