Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Procurement Specialist – Technology Procurement to join our dynamic team.
What you’ll do:
Manage various technology categories, including Engineering SaaS, Security & Risk Management, and Hardware/consumables.
Support supplier performance management, including assisting with scorecarding.
Conduct spend analysis, cost modeling, market analysis, and gather stakeholder requirements.
Identify and evaluate relevant sources of supply.
Execute category strategies, including negotiation, RFQs, RFIs, and process design/establishment.
Manage preferred supplier relationships, including supplier evaluation and tiering.
Serve as the first point of contact for day-to-day questions, issue resolution, and supplier inquiries.
Monitor overall supplier performance and tie this to employee productivity metrics.
Compile data for supplier scorecards and run reports.
Create dashboards, scorecards, and benchmarks to drive awareness of optimization opportunities and support decision-making.
What you bring:
3-7 years of experience in technology procurement.
Proven track record of building effective long-term partner relationships.
Experience managing RFx processes (RFQs, RFIs, etc.).
Previous experience with sourcing and procurement of indirect consumable equipment.
Strong organizational skills and data-driven approach.
Self-driven with the ability to identify proactive actions.
Delivery-focused with a global perspective.
Experience working in a medium or large company.
Strong communication skills with internal stakeholders and business partners.
Ability to express complex ideas clearly and concisely.
Familiarity with basic accounting principles.
Team-oriented mindset, valuing collaboration over individual achievements.
