Senior Product Manager

We are looking for a driven and tech interested Senior Product Manager that will lead and focus on delivering cutting-edge messaging broker for the IoT area.
Your future role
In this role you will be responsible for leading EMQ’s MQTT broker product to make sure we deliver an innovative and best-in-class product to our customers. As Product Manager you will team up with engineers, design, and test teams to optimize, improve and develop our MQTT broker. You will own the product strategy and be part of the entire development cycle from gathering requirements to product launch. In addition, you will participate in in community and marketing activities to make sure we deliver product value and continuous growth.
Some of your responsibilities:
· Develop and align product strategy and roadmaps for MQTT broker
· Explore and learn from key competitors in data infrastructure software industry and other similar industries
· Develop mockups/prototypes together with R&D
· Have close communication with clients and market to gather and define requirements
· Build revenue, pricing, and adoption models
· Deliver high quality software designs and solutions
· Define, track and report KPIs
Who you are
To succeed in this role, we believe you are an experienced Product Manager within open-source or data infrastructure software with a genuine interest in tech. You are a passionate problem solver with strong sense of ownership and business acumen. You know how to inspire, motivate, and support the team to get things done. Furthermore, you have excellent communication skills since you will be interacting with various stakeholders both internally and externally.
· 5 years of proven experience as a Product Manager, preferably within enterprise software domain
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business or similar
· Experience in data infrastructure, software or middleware is a plus
· Previous experience in open-source software is a plus
· Professional English skills, both written and verbal
