Senior Project Manager

We are looking for a dedicated Senior Project Manager in the CAM Program to play an important part from the very start in building one of the first large scale European battery factories, where Northvolt will play an important role in the transformation to a carbon free society.

The Senior Project Manager will manage overall planning and execution of design, procurement as well as construction & commissioning of the chemical plant until handover to Operations. Manage HSSE, Quality, Cost, Schedule performance including developing staff and resource plans for the work.

The Senior Project Manager will support the safe and quality construction program, ensuring the facility is handed over to commissioning in the right sequence and fully complete. This role has an important role in developing collaborative relations with key contractors and suppliers, ensuring timely receipt of deliverables and delivering against key contractual milestones and obligations.

Reporting to the Project Director, the Senior Project Manager will interact and coordinate with Operations team to ensure seamless handover and start of production.

The team: The CAM Program is bringing to life the development and production of Active Cathode Material for Northvolt production in Västerås and Skellefteå and soon our Borlänge plant. As a Senior Project Manager in the team you will have responsibilities from hands on practical work to strategic project planning.
We believe that you have :

Education/Experience

- A degree in Engineering or MBA/Relevant University Degree
- 8+ years working experience in heavy industry, preferably oil and gas, mining or mineral processing
- Track record of successful Project Management ideally in a fast growing environment
- Must have worked in multi-cultural environment
- Leadership experience is a plus
- Experience and interest in manufacturing industry is a plus
