Senior Project Manager

UCG/ Radio Support is a consulting company specialized in support to the telecom and electronics industry.Mostly in the design/verification and test/industrializing areas.Through UCG Recruitment we also help customers recruit personnel in the same areas.We have an office at Kista in northern Stockholm but are operating all over Sweden.For our customer we are looking for a Senior Project Manager Job description: In this position you will manage projects within a Global Business Unit and be part of the Project Office.You will have project responsibility, making sure that deadlines and budgets are met.You steer, guide, co-ordinate and coach the project team.Your assignment will be as project manager initially for a hardware change to one of our customers customers.You will be working closely with several different departments delivering a solution.Several new initiatives are evaluated with this customer so the Project Manager must have the ability to pick up signs where the customer needs help and create suggestions for how that can be handled.This customer is primarily based in US but do also have business in UK The assignment includes: - Define project scope, project budget and related project milestones.- Define internal and external project deliverables based on underlying Contract and/or Project directives.- Manage technical and functional requirements, i.e.functional, system, surveillance, operational, performance, availability, capacity and robustness requirements in line with needs in the financial industry.- Deliver system solutions including e.g.infrastructure design, set-up of hardware, networks, operating systems and application software together with the project team.- Prepare for support and maintenance set-up together with the line organization.- Manage subcontractor to our customer which includes making sure that milestones are followed according to defined procedures. Qualified candidates should have: - University degree.- Preferably more than 5 years of professional experience whereof 3 years experience from project management.- Excellent language skills in written and spoken English and Swedish.- Computer skills in Microsoft Office.- Excellent project management and leadership skills.- Good financial industry knowledge.- Experience from projects with close relation to IT operation and maintenance.- Experience from working with suppliers of Application software, Communication, Hardware and Layered software.- Experience working with a defined Project Methodology and preferably PPS. To suit this position you have natural leadership skills.You show a great will to succeed and to form a winning team.You are an initiator and motivator with a structured approach, comfortable with performing under time pressure.Furthermore you are customer focused and target oriented with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
