Senior research engineer - Optronics

As a developer at Cipherstone Technologies you will work in a small dynamic team with great possibilities to affect your work situation. You will work independently with design, implementation and testing of software and hardware for advanced optics. The work tasks will be focused mainly on optical design and project management but may include some data collection, selection and configuration of hardware, and development of hardware/software infrastructure.

We believe that you have the following background:

- Minimum MSc degree (Electrical Engineering, Physics, or equivalent field)
- Preferably a PhD in applied optics or photonics
- At least three years of industrial experience within a relevant field
- In-depth experience in optical design
- Practical experience from photometric measurements, calibration
- Experience from manufacturing of optical systems
- Implementation of standards compliant solutions, eg CIE compliant
- Experience from project management

If you also have any of the following experiences it would strengthen your application:

- Experience from camera technologies (IP cameras)
- Knowledge in embedded systems design
- Prototyping in Matlab, Octave or LabVIEW
- Computer vision and image analysis techniques
