Senior RF engineer

Our client in Stockholm is looking for a Senior RF engineer, for start in the spring 2007: The successful candidate will be involved in a number of advanced and future radio access projects at different levels. Specific duties include: . Analysis of radio access system requirements and reporting on the implementation feasibility of potential proposals. . Performing radio system investigations for future mobile system technologies. . Monitoring of emerging component technologies such as RF IC and PA transistor technologies. . Support colleagues/other departments with development of high efficiency PA products. . Support standards group in RF matters. Essential Skills required (as many from list below): . Experience with modern transceiver architectures on a detailed level. . Experience with general RF design (e.g. any of the following: PA, LNA, RF gain stages, I/Q and RF Up/down conversion, RF transceiver IC usage and interfacing, ADC/DAC interfacing, passive/distributed RF networks, matching networks .) . Understanding of RF implementation, such as digital circuit, RF mechanical, manufacturing. . Understanding of modern PA linearization techniques for radio basestation applications. . Experience from an OEM basestation equipment supplier. . Good experience of RF CAD Tools (e.g. ADS, PSPICE). . Familiarity with MATLAB. Beneficial: . Exposure to RFIC design is a plus.
