Senior RF engineer

We are currently looking for a Senior RF Engineer with the possibility to be based at our Kista, Lysekil or Gothenburg office. This person will work within a team designing radio parts in multi standard products and focus on RF/IF chain active and passive circuits as mixer, amplifier, and filter. Responsibilities includes setup the verification environment for the transceivers or part of it, work within a team to plan the future RF for the receiver and transmitter in BTS as well as study, experiment and develop new architecture for radio. The position will also include work together with vendors and university to find the new components to be used in next generation of transceivers. Qualifications and experience To be successful in this role the candidate should have at least 8 years experiences working with RF and been working with some of these standards; GSM, UMTS, CDMA and LTE. Also required is knowledge and practical experience in design of RF and IF circuits as mixers, amplifiers, filters, clock and frequency generation and experience from co-operation with component vendors and university. The candidate needs to have knowledge and practical experience in measuring and setup system for measuring for radio products. To have a sensitive insight on radio component technique and development trend is also required. Skills requirements The candidate should have a high focus on delivering high quality work. The candidate should have a strong feeling and interest for development and to share experiences with others in the team and have a proven capability to pursue creative solutions. Prior experience from international and multicultural work is preferred. As we are a global company the candidate must be able to communicate fluently in English, both verbally and in writing. Good social and networking skills to support teamwork in project groups as well as ability to work independently and show initiative.
