What’s in it for you?
This is a great opportunity to shape a newly created role and to be part of a workplace with very qualified colleagues. You will join, lead and coach one of our agile teams as well as being the Release Train Engineer for the DevOps Enablement Cluster (DE) at Volvo Cars. At DE we are offering a variety of solutions supporting the software development process and we have several ways of working including CI/CD, Azure DevOps and GitHub. Our focus is to deliver a first-class developer experience. You will also take active part in the agile transformation of the product by coaching the team to improve agile abilities and by utilizing agile methods and SAFe framework principles to create business value continuously. You will be located in Gothenburg together with the product teams.
What you’ll do
You will work with delivery execution within the DE product teams, while coaching your team in all aspects of agile ways of working and mind-set. A key task is to manage and optimize the flow of value through the product. You will be establishing and improving planning and delivery iterations, understand and coordinate cross team dependencies and foster program collaboration. You will also be enabling clarity in prioritization and ensure transparency of team progress, releases and achievements across the organization as well as facilitating measurement of results. 

Furthermore, you will assess the Scrum Maturity of the team and organization and coach the team to higher levels of maturity at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and organization. You will collaborate with the two Scrum Masters for the other teams in the product cluster to jointly support the agile journey of the products. You will help to manage and reduce risks and dependencies as well as removing and tracking impediments. You will be working with product management, engineering and other stakeholders.
Do you fit the profile?
You have a certification and several years of experience as a Scrum Master, preferably from different organizations and global teams. You have experience of infrastructure management and/or development. You come from a leading role such as Scrum Master, Line Manager, Project Manager or similar. You have experience in Azure DevOps, Jira or an equivalent system. We believe that you are familiar with the Scaled Agile Framework, Scrum and DevOps Lean Agile methods. Lastly, you have previous experience in working with software development projects.
