About the job Swedbank is increasing its analytical capabilities and diversifying its data landscape, looking at new ways of capitalizing on data, with the ultimate goal of better knowing and hence better serving our customers. In doing this, new platforms and technologies for discovery, advanced analytics and big data and security management will be explored and introduced. This will be done in close cooperation with the business and IT.

The BI Architecture team is a key strategic service working across the full Group Business Intelligence domains and responsible for establishing the Group BI Target Architecture and Business Domain Architecture. As a Senior Security Architect to BI you will work with implementation of BI Information Management and Managing Information Security in conjunction with Group Information Security. You will play a key role in this team and report directly to the Manager of Business Intelligence Architecture.

Information Security Architecture is a critical strategic element within Group BI. Information Security must also be managed throughout the development lifecycle as well as continuously in day to day operations. This role covers a range of angles on the area, from information security classification to more technical details on how we should secure our IT-solutions within Group BI. The role is supported by centralized Group Information Security resources, defined frameworks and our local domain architects.

In your role you will be responsible for:

Close collaboration with Group BI Information Security Management
Setting and manage the group information security metrics to ensure that we deliver in line with the requirements
Support other services within Group BI in ensuring that they comply with the information security requirements (both towards business owners and technical advice to software engineers)
Support information security review on external IT-solutions during selection process
Perform information security architecture review within Group BI as part of the regular architecture governance process
Promoting the importance of information security within Group BI
Collaboration with the Group BI SPOC towards Group Information Security
Continuous improvement of how we work with information security
What you need to succeed Briefly describe the type of competences, education, personality, language skills, licenses, etc. you need to succeed.

Profound information security experience both from a framework and technical perspective (minimum 5 years in the domain)
Excellent depth and breadth in IT security and documented experience of architectural and design tasks
Excellent knowledge and understanding of the threat environment, relevant legal and regulatory requirements
Good knowledge and understanding of Information Security Management and Risk Management in general
General knowledge of banking and of IT systems used in banking and financial sector
Good general knowledge in applied technologies (cloud, etc) and coming technologies
Relevant certification within the area, such as CISSP, CISA/CISM, SABSA or similar or having the qualifications to gain such certifications with little effort
Great communication and interpersonal skills
Flexible and highly collaborative
Relevant academic degree
Excellent written and oral communication skills with English being a requirement and Swedish and languages as an advantage
