About The Role

As a Senior SW Architect you will be part of the Core System Platform team to deliver an optimized and robust underlying SW execution environment. You will be collaborating with multiple stakeholders, particularly the System Architects, to understand and capture their SW and service requirements. You will define SW components, associated architectures, middleware(s) and interfaces with a view of streamlining the deployment of applications in the High-Performance execution environment. You will communicate requirements for system-level design, System Safety and real time embedded operating system constraints (QNX, DriveOS).

Our mission is to have top quality SW, as such you will need to provide testable architectural solutions, provide technical trade-offs concerning systems, functions, modules, components, interfaces and work closely with the developers of the hosted applications.

What we are looking for

- You have a University Degree or equivalent experience from the automotive industry, as well as knowledge of software architecture for mechatronic systems.
- Strong experience and evidence of delivering complex SW architectures on embedded system platforms.
- Experience working with platform features, full software development lifecycle, problem definition, design, development, and release.
- A track record of embedded software development in one or more: Embedded Linux, QNX, POSIX.
- Experience in architecture modelling language(s) (e.g. SysML, UML)
- Strong experience in object-oriented design and design patterns


Desirable

- Experience with middleware architecture and design
- Knowledge within system safety according to ISO 26262.
- knowledge of automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet).
