SENIOR SOFTWARE DEVELOPER, TRAFFIC CONTROLLER

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

You will work within the embedded software group – a part of the R & D department. We work from product concept to finished product verified, ie, the work spans the entire development chain. This includes activities such as feasibility studies, requirements analysis, design, implementation and unit testing. You have a genuine interest in technology and programming / systems analysis. You are also product oriented and interested in understanding and optimizing the integrity of the system and enjoys working in a team and sharing knowledge

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

- +5 years of experience in software development in C for embedded systems
- Experience in the development of communication protocols
- Experience in datacom or telecom systems
- Experience working in Linux host and target environment.
- Preferably experience in at least one of the standards for optical networks: Carrier Ethernet, MPLS-TP, OTN, WDM
- Experience working with hardware engineers integrating software and hardware
- Worked with Ethernet ASICs and their associated SDKer such as Broadcom XGS or Broadcom Dune architectures
- Masters or Bachelors degree in Engineering
- Have good knowledge of Swedish and English in both speech and writing
